DG Larry Boettcher, Marceline Lions Club,

District Governor Larry joined the Lions organization in December 1994. He has been a member in multiple clubs across the state and he has held multiple club positions including President in 3 clubs, Vice President, 2nd Vice-President, Board of Directors, Tail Twister, and Lion Tamer along with several committees. Prior to leaving the St Louis area in 2003 DG Larry served the old 26-A1 District as a Zone Chairman for 1 year and Region Chairman for 3 years.

Outside of the District, DG Larry has served at Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing on the Finance Committee for 6 years 2009-2015, and as 1 of 2 representatives for the State of Missouri as a Board of Director for 5 years 2010-2015.

DG Larry is currently the Vice Council Chair at the State Level, the District Chairperson for Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service, and sits on the Board of Directors for Saving Sight.

DG Larry is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and has received a Progressive Dalstrom Award from Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service for his dedicated service.

DG Larry Graduated with his Master of Science Degree in Printing Management from Pittsburg State University in 1994. During his career he was a Book and Catalog Estimator for 5 years and he has been the Estimating Manager at 3 different Multi-Million Dollar Companies over the past 17 years. For the last 9+ years DG Larry has been working at Walsworth in Marceline, MO as the Commercial Estimating Manager.
