Four Clubs Help Legally Blind Student

Helena School District Student Benefits from New MoJo

St Joseph South Side Lions Club, Clarksdale Lions Club, Cosby Lions Club, and Savannah Lions Club came together to purchase a new MoJo Electronic Monocular from NanoPac to help a legally blind student in the Helena School District.  This portable device is used to magnify objects both near and far such as tags, menus, newspapers, street signs, nature, and, of course, school work.  

The 3rd grader was born with albino syndrome but is very active young lady.  However, her therapist determined this device would benefit her not only in the classroom, but since is fits in her had, can be taken anywhere to aid her vision.  Representatives from the clubs as well as the district governor made the trip to Cosby to present the MoJo to her and meet her parents.  

Another life changed forever by Lions.
